Upgrade Your Performance with the TriggerTech AR9 Duty Two-Stage Trigger
If the AR-15 is your choice for personal defense, then the TriggerTech AR9 Duty Two-Stage trigger is the perfect upgrade. Frictionless Release Technology uses a patented, free-floating roller that is captured between the sear and the trigger to provide a true zero-creep break with an over-travel of less than 0.060". The free-floating roller reduces the friction you experience with sliding friction triggers. Many shooters remark that the perceived trigger pull is about 0.5 lbs less than friction-based triggers of the same measured pull weight. Trigger over-travel and reset are controlled by the TKR Technology, called the "ticker." The "ticker" is an intermediate component that enables the sear to release without further trigger movement. This keeps over-travel to about 0.060" and trigger reset to less than 0.070".The AR Duty Trigger was driven by feedback from military and law enforcement operators. They wanted the patented Zero Creep Technology and proven stainless-steel internals, but with a more tactile feel. To achieve this, TriggerTech more than doubled the pull weight and length of the first stage. And after the zero-creep break, TriggerTech engineered a much more forceful reset. Trigger pull weight is fixed at a crisp 3.5 lbs. Hardened 440C stainless steel is used for the internal trigger components which are contained and protected in an EZAC Diecast housing. External stainless-steel components are protected from the elements with Physical Vapor Deposition, a hard and durable coating with a clean black finish. The trigger lever is the last point where you connect with the firearm before taking a shot. Shot after shot, the Duty AR9 Twp-Stage Trigger provides consistent performance for duty use.
