The 1860 Army is recognized as the mainstay of the Union Army. The 1860 was ordered to fill the ranks as the general issue pistol of the time. After the Civil War, the 1860 could long be found in Army posts and in holsters and homes all across the frontier. It also has the US Marshal logo engraved in the grip. It is currently available in .36 caliber and has hammer/blade sights.
