Don't let the classic beauty of the Kentucky rifle let you think that it is anything less than an outstanding performer! The octagonal barrel is rifled 1:66 for patched ball loads and the long sight plane adds precision shooting accuracy. A color case hardened lock and brass furniture accent the full length, two piece stock of walnut-finished select hardwood. The Kentucky rifle uses a V-type mainspring for fast lock times. This rifle will be great in the field, and look great on your wall.

My first attempt at Flintlock
To be honest I haven't had a chance to fire it yet and we'll wait a little longer for final judgment. I had to order in some 4f powder for the priming pan and a few extra accoutrements, including flints. I'm just getting the feel of the gun but it seems like there is less gun than I was expecting.
