A blank pistol with the strength to stand up to frequent use and for those who prefer a larger, more hand filling pistol. This deluxe blank pistol has the heft and balance of many conventional pistols. A solid barrel with a red plug identifies that the barrel is safe and is not a real gun. The cylinder swings out for loading the five 5 209 shotgun primers. Comes in a handy plastic, foam lined storage and carrying case.

Junk - Stay Away
Did not purchase from this company. Bought at local store. Have a small vineyard. Every fall must scare migrating birds from eating grapes. In addition to a propane cannon we also use starter pistols. Bought this because it was advertised as reliable. Went thru 2 pistols in less then a week. Shells produce a lot of residue so we clean the pistol after 4 - 5 loads. Even with frequent cleaning pistol: misfires, cylinder misaligns, small pieces of metal break off around cylinder. Felt I needed to leave this review so others do not waste their time, as I've wasted mine, on this product.

Traditions mfg's. garbage
Traditions mfg's. garbage. I thought this would an upgrade from their 22cal blank pistol. Turned out to be just more costly junk. This pistol screwed up more than one dog training session. Total failure after only 64 primers fired.

Arrived on-time (CTD stan
Arrived on-time (CTD standard) and in a green handgun case. The case was not the greatest, but I'm not here to review that. The revolver is great- everything you could hope for, except for two small issues- both of which with easy fixes. The handles are plastic and the frame does not go to the base of the handle, leaving it poorly weighted. This can be solved by filling the insides of the handles with metal (birdshot works just fine) and caulk (to keep the pellets from rattling). Also, the gun was covered in a strange grease- though it came with a small maintenance brush, I was unable to get it off with that- with enough time I should be able to remove it. Regardless, I'm giving this 5 cartridges because it's more than I expected. Good job, CTD. Keep up the good work.P.S.: I found it interesting that upon viewing the page for this item again, the 'Things people who bought this also bought' box seemed very familiar- until I realized that those were the rest of the items I bought- seems I'm the only person to have bought this so far.

I was going to buy this for training of 2 K-9 that I have. When I put in my zip code it says it cant be shipped to me. I just wanted to make sure its not a mistake because I already found a mistake probably about a year ago. They would ship brass 9mm blanks to me but not steel 9mm blanks for a blank gun not a firearm. CTD then corrected that mistake within a day
Answer:
