Bought this barrel shot five shots through the barrel cleaning the barrel every time, and the breech got hard stuck have to send it back. This is the second time this has happened following all the instructions in the owner's manual with two separate barrels. The scope gets in the way of th breech plug wrench so I have I had to take scope off to get access to the plug. Stay away from this barrel unless you shoot open sights, and Thompson will not refund you your money back and the only thing they can do take the breech out and send you the barrel back which doesn't fix the problem with the barrel.

Answer: No, the the Encore has an interchangeable barrel feature and the Pro Hunter FX is a fixed barrel (non-interchangeable).
