The Texas Weapon Systems Dog Leg Scope Rail is an excellent way to successfully mount an optic to your Yugo Pattern AK-47 Rifle. Made of high quality 6061-T6 Aluminum and hard anodized for longevity, the Texas Weapon Systems Dog Leg Scope Rail is easy to install and use. Scoped AK rifles require a very low mounted optic to obtain a proper cheek weld for consistent shooting. One only needs to observe the height of the standard iron sights to confirm this. The Dog Leg replaces the standard dust cover and easily installs with a single hinge pin to the rear sight block in place of the rear leaf sight. The included cam lock release button replaces the standard release button and is installed to the return spring.
