This cartridge’s case is made of steel for one reason only: lowered production cost. The case’s rigidity and Berdan primer both make it unsuitable for handloading. The round’s 124 grain full metal jacket contains steel for the same reason. It is not suitable for target practice at ranges that have a “magnetic ammo” ban in place.

Tela Impex reports this round’s muzzle velocity as falling within a range: 2,329–2,379 fps. We reported the average of those two numbers.
