A must have, easy upgrade!
Every 10/22 should have an extended magazine release like this. It's easy to install and is a lot more functional. Push out the mag release pin. It almost falls out by itself. Push in slightly on the mag release cylinder on the front of the trigger assembly. The old release will fall out. While continuously holding the mag release cylinder in slightly so it doesn't fly out from spring tension, slide in the new mag release into the same slot on the right side of the cylinder. Release the tension on the cylinder so the new part is held in by spring tension, then replace the mag release pin. It will slide in easily when the holes align. To keep the pin from falling out, I put a small spot of scotch tape over it.

This change is so easy to
This change is so easy to do and so worth it. Unlike the other plastic mag release levers, this one is metal and made of good quality. Dont cheap out and buy the less expensive one. This one is the way to go. With the 10/22, you don't have to move your shooting hand at all and you can drop the mag. It works with my Tapco stock as well.
