With the crush washer in place, will the threads stop so the device stop so it is properly oriented to the barrel? (Right side up?)

You may have to apply more torque to properly time the brake.
Following up to my previous question, more do a correction. This muzzle break is threaded @ 1/2 x 36". The end of the muzzle is threaded @ 1/2 x 28. When I got to place it on my Ruger 9MM carbine, it turns a few time then gets very tight. I don't want to strip the threads. Does the product possibly have a bad threading, or does the thread not fit the gun? And should I not use this due to the non matching thread?

Do NOT force this. Or any other threaded item. You have to use matching thread on both the muzzle device and the muzzle. You need a 1/2"x28tpi muzzle device.
