TacFire's firing pin retainer is another item that is uniquely designed to upgrade the current oudated cotter pin. It is made to be a very tight fit in order to ensure the firing pin does not cycle out of place when in use.

Perfect fit. High quality. Will purchase more.
Nice tight fit. Perfect size. Not brittle like other manufactures retainer pins.

Compare with the other manufacturers before buying either
I like the stainless finish of this retaining pin, but the final fit is a bit loose. I had to take a slim knife edge and SLIGHTLY expand the fork so it would "snap" into place and hold. Otherwise the pin would slide freely and could possibly jam the BCG in the receiver. Be careful to SLOWLY and CAREFULLY widen the fork. DON'T GO SO FASTE OR HARD THAT YOU END UP BREAKING THE FORKS OFF. The other manufacturer has complaints that its pin is too brittle. TEST AND COMPARE.

Perfect fit and much better construction than cotter pin
Cost the same or cheaper compare to a regular cotter pin. Best part, mush easier to insert and remove than a cotter when cleaning my BCG.

Seems well made
Figured that I would try it out, fits perfectly, I like it better than the cutter key because it was easier to seat it in the far hole and stayed there
