How do i know the size?

It's adjustable. One size fits most. Shoulder straps adjust from 11"to 21" and the cummerbund adjusts from 48" to 58"
Can the plates be purchased generically? I dont see the plates for this vest availability on the site.

This carrier includes NIJ Level IIIA Soft Armor Inserts and accepts most standard 10x12 plates. We also have similar plates that are sold separately. Check out item # 7-ZGGPMCL3P and TAC-930-066.
what's the dimensions of this plate carrier Vest?

T3 Gear does not list the dimensions other than to say 'One Size Fits Most'. It holds two 10"x12" plates, one front and one back. You may want to contact T3 directly for further clarification.
