CNC-machined from aerospace aluminum, the M85 eplaces the original forend on M4 rifles and variants with a mid-length handguard and triangular handguard cap. It provides integral MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rails allowing the operator to mount a variety of accessories. Stronger than original plastic forends, the M73 also dissipates heat much better and provides rock-solid weapon fit and accessory mounting.
