These are replacements for the disposable memory foam tips used by SureFire EP7 Sonic Defender Ultra earplugs. When installed correctly and used as directed they conform to your ear canal, maintaining an acoustic seal and provide a Noise Reduction Rating of 26dB. EP7 tips should be replaced every 2 to 4 weeks, or when soiled. They have simple screw on, screw off installation.
