Shortest buffer tube I've found, handy for pistol brace rule compliance
My use case for this buffer tube is a bit different from what Strike Industries intended but shows how useful it can be in the current environment. Trying to piece together a brace to work on my Ruger PC Charger within the point system of ATF 2021R-08 became a problem mainly due to length of pull - the brace I had was just too long. My search for the shortest frame extension led me to this product, being an inch or more shorter than most buffer tubes. Even that was a bit too long, but after cutting off the anti-rotation tab and another 9 "excess" thread pitches, I've got a buffer tube which when combined with a SB Mini brace & Midwest folding adapter gives me a <11.5" LOP and a compliant pistol brace system. The tube itself appears very well made, has an OD which matches very well to the brace, and provides for a much better cheek weld surface than the extension on my old brace. I am sure it would suit its intended AR pistol customers very well.

I am building a epc-9 any way to make this work?
Answer:
I would not recommend this for pistol cartridges that use a direct blowback system, such as 9mm. This has a shorter than standard buffer tube which may not have a sufficient amount of space for efficient blowback operation. You need a sufficient amount of stroke for the bolt carrier to give the disconnector enough time to rotate forward and grab the hammer.
Does this buffer tube take a standard castle nut?
Answer:
Yes it does.
In the description it says this tube is 5.28 in. Is that including threads?
Answer:
Yes it is.
