How far apart are the m-lok points? Is it using 2 slots that are one next to another or with 1 slot between (spans 3 slots?)

This item uses one M-Lok slot to attach, however, it takes up about 2.5 M-Lok slots worth of space on a handguard.
How many m-lok slots does it attach to? I’m using a palmetto 7.5” and I have one to work with.
