I love this light. I use streamlight on all my stuff. The strobe is a very nice option. 3 years now, and have yet to change a battery. A quality product for an affordable price.

Mounted to my M&P .45 compact really well. It sticks out much further than the weapon but i dont mind and it held up like a champ after about 100 rounds at the range. The ad says 160 lumens but the package it came in says 300, must be an update. Great light, i recommend it

I have to admit at first,
I have to admit at first, I was a little skeptic about this, considering that every gun shop around here wants around $300 for an amazing tact light. I just received this in the mail today. It fits great on the full size Taurus PT1911. The end of it is about 1/4 to 1/2 of an inch from the end of the barrel.I turned it on from 20 feet away while looking through a mirror and you can barely see your own silhouette. When you turn on the strobe feature, you cannot see anything but the light blinding your eyes. Overall, it works very well and fits very snug on the tact rail on my pistol. The only con I would say is the location of the switch while holding your pistol. You have to double tap the switch one way for it to strobe and it is a momentary switch so you cannot let go. What I am trying to say is that you have to keep your finger on the switch the whole time and at least for me, my left index finger normally doesn't rest that far out while I am shooting. All in all, 5 bullets for another amazing CTD product.

Love this light! With the quick detach, I can switch between almost everything in 2 seconds. Beam is plenty bright and blinding on strobe.

Everything about this light is nice, except for one issue: getting the strobe to turn on is easy, but you must manually hold the button to keep it flashing. Would have gotten 5 bullets if you could release the button while on strobe and it not shut off completely.

I have one on my M&P40 and one on my patrol rifle. This light is awesome! Very bright, and the strobe function is good for disorienting suspects. I've fired hundreds of rounds with it on my pistol and over a thousand with my rifle, and have never had a problem. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a pistol or rifle light.

Just received my TLR-1s..
Just received my TLR-1s..my first light delivered was stolen from my door step while I wasn't home but CTD sent another light so A+ on customer service. It was very easy to mount on my Smith&Wesson M&P 9mm and is extremely bright. I also own a Streamlight Stringray hand held light and the TLR-1s is just as bright. So far it seems to be very durable, no movement after mounting it. For the price of this baby I would say it was an easy buy and great price for the product.

I bought this light, excellent shipping from CTD as always and I threw it on my XDM 9mm today and needless to say I was thrilled. It has an easily accessible operation just a flick of a finger to turn it on or off, takes a minute to get used to activating the strobe function though.

Based on a previous purchase of the TLR-1, I decided to buy the strobing version to mount on my WASR-10. After a torture test of the weapon, including burial in sand and total water submersion, the light still functions very well. The reason I gave it four bullets is that the strobing feature does not work consistently anymore. Momentary and constant work fine, but it fails to switch to strobe. Perhaps it was the sand or water, but there is only a few dollars difference between the strobing version and non-strobing version. I am still extremely pleased with the light as a whole.

Will it fit my Taurus G3c 9mm?
Answer:
This light is designed for a full size pistol. It will likely attach to your firearm, but it will extend past your muzzle and you may find better fitment with a more compact light. Check out item # 20-STRE-69402.
