The Streamlight TLR-1s HP is the first compact, long-range tactical weaponlight. The TLR-1s HP has been optimized for long gun applications. I already owned a TLR-1s
I already owned a TLR-1s for my home defense shotgun. That light is super bright. I love that light and it's controls. It does not have the remote switch, and frankly does not need one. The factory switch is awesomely well designed. So when shopping for a weapon light for a 223 cal I natural I started there. The TLR-1s HP light is perfect for this application. The controls are exactly the same. The brightness and focused beam are perfect. I had my father stand in his porch a mile away from my house across a plowed feild and he stated the light was very bright even at that distance. I can Walt shoot out to 200 yards. Coyotes beware, the game has changed. No more yipping and barking just out of shotgun range.

Got this with the remote
Got this with the remote switch accessories and love it so far. Very bright, and the beam is focused tight enough to be used as an aiming point in the house. I also have a TLR-1 for my pistol, and I have been very impressed with Streamlight's products. This HP is much brighter than the pistol light, and worth every penny.
