The description should ha
The description should have mentioned also the diameter of this pocket light. I was expecting it to be close to 1 inch in diameter. Length is 1.47 inch but the diameter is 1/4 inch only. The 10 lumens is bright enough but this will end up with my key chain. :(

This is the perfect little light - I needed a light that fit the following criteria: Weather-proof, Small (The smaller, the better), Lightweight, Metal (Durable), Protected bulb that DOES NOT show to the side (Protects night vision - what good is it to shine the light in your own eyes?), Constant on/off switching (None of that irritating pressure switching, or cycling through varies power levels and flashing functions), Attachment device (The clip on this is awesome!), and relatively low-powered for use in total darkness (Not needing to illuminate a helicopter landing pad). This light is 'GI-Proof'Now here's what I specifically use it for - I live in the mountains, and have a Black Labrador Retreiver that I enjoy taking on hikes and camping trips. Do you know how hard it is to see a black dog in total darkness? I just hang this Streamlight on his collar - the 10 lumens shines a perfect beam on the ground while he's running around like an idiot, and I know where is all the time. The size or weight doesn't bother him, unlike the other various lights I've tried.The clip doesn't allow the light to rotate, so I only need one hand to twist the power on and off. I'm ordering some more to place on my bags and other items.All this for less than 7 bucks!

Now first things first, this is a very very small key-chain light, and will be reviewed as such. If you are wanting a duty or weapon light go with surefire or another streamlight product.This light is surprisingly bright despite its tiny size. It is ideal as a backup light or for occasional use. It is much much brighter than a carabiner light or a photon light. I bought one of these (from here to get the best price), and by the end of the week I had three other people buying them as well. You cannot get a better key-chain light for the price and weight of this one.
