The Steyr AUG A3 is the civilian legal version of the iconic Steyr AUG bullpup rifle. The AUG A3 is built around a 5.56mm NATO chamber which safely allows you to shoot all .223 Remington loads. The AUG A3 features a gas operated action, with a 16" chrome lined bore and chamber. The trigger group is synthetic to keep the weight down except for the springs, steel bearing pins, and hold open catch. The safety mechanism is a lateral push through type and this version lower accepts standard NATO type magazines. The A3 features a Mil-STD-1913 picatinny rail which allows you to mount a variety of optics, lights, and lasers. The overall length is 28.25" and the AUG A3 weighs in at 8.15 lbs with an empty magazine inserted.
