The Spyderco Manix is a superior, easy to carry cutting tool. Manufaturing is started with an exceedingly strong locking design, made to tight tolerances. The substantial backlock is positioned mid spine for smooth operation of the blade. By skeletonizing the dual steel liners (which are nested into the G-10 handle) rigidity and strength are increased without adding unnecessary thickness or weight. Outstanding ergonomics result from a fore finger choil allowing you to choke up on the blade for better manipulation over the cutting edge.

The buttery smooth action is due to the relationship between the blade's weight, the lock's shape and the spring's shape. All of these are a result of implementing precise, close manufacturing tolerances from the get go. Made from premium S30V steel, the blade is double flat-ground with aggressive thumb serrations notched above the 14mm Spyderco Round Hole. This keeps the thumb gripped on the blade spine enhancing cutting performance.
