I ordered two of these mags hoping they would work in my XDM 40S&W. They arrived 3 days later and they not only worked in the weapon. They were the exact mags that came with my XDM. The package they came in said Springfield Armory XDM Gear. And the markings on the mags were identical to the originals. Arrived as advertised.

Can't beat factory mags,
Can't beat factory mags, especially when they are just about half the price my local gun store sells them for. Bought 3, tested them out fully loaded, one of them cause a double-feed, but I chalked it up to a fresh spring in the mag, as the same thing happened on one of the mags that came with the pistol. Tough to want to buy local when the prices are too good to pass up on CTD.

Will this fit xd 357 not xdm?

Will this fit my Springfield xdm s&w 3.8 barrel 16 rounds mag already look like they are the same but I can't add a back strap to mine or clip will not fill all the way in it. Is that cause it's not a subcompact 40 cal?

This will fit a Springfield XDM chambered in .40S&W with 3.8" barrel. There were two versions of the XDM with 3.8" barrel. The note regarding backstrap configurations is referring to the compact model. If you have the version with the full size grip, then this magazine will sit flush with the bottom of the magazine well and the slip-over grip extensions will not fit. If you have the compact version, then this magazine will extend past the end of the magazine well and you can use slip over grip sleeves.
