I have a xdm .45 compact 3.8. I'm looking for new magazines. How do I tell which grip-x tension I need? I noticed there are a couple different choices for my pistol.

Hi Mark! Here is Springfield Armory's answer to your question: "It depends on which back strap you have on the grip of your gun. There are three different sizes of back straps 1,2, &3. If you have back strap #2 on the gun, then you will want to go with the magazine that has the #2 extension sleeve on it. There should be a Roman numeral I, II, or III on the inside of the back strap (the opposite side of the checkering)."
