Springfield Armory fine-tuned the classic design of the iconic 1911 pistol in 2007 and introduced the Enhanced Micro Pistol. The EMP is everything a compact 1911 should be. It uses a lightweight hard coat anodized aluminum alloy frame along with a satin finished forged stainless steel slide. The 3" stainless steel barrel is match grade and has a fully supported ramp. The EMP has an enhanced, ergonomic beavertail grip safety, no-snag combat hammer and lightweight skeleton trigger. It is an excellent choice for concealed carry.
