The kit is based around the Spikes Tactical Battle Trigger, a single stage Mil-spec trigger, rounded hammer and disconnector plated with Nickel Boron. The trigger pull is smooth and crisp and gets even smoother the more you shoot it. Anti-rotation pins keep the hammer and trigger pins from walking out. The kit includes an ambidextrous selector, a billet trigger guard with set screw, and an Ergo grip.
