This Spike's Tactical 14.5" lightweight profile barrel has a mid-length gas system. While carbine length has been the standard, mid-length is the optimal setup for function without over gassing the action. The 5.56 NATO chamber has M4 feed ramps and will run .223 or 5.56 without issue. Add your favorite muzzle brake or flash hider to the 1/2x28 threaded muzzle for a custom look. At 14.5", permanently attach a muzzle device to be 16" or wait for your tax stamp approval and build an SBR upper.
