Speer Gold Dot G2 for When Second Best Is Not Good Enough
Speer's Gold Dot G2 Ammunition is designed with the G2 Projectile. The Speer Gold Dot G2 is designed with a shallow dish instead of a large hollow point, this dish is filled with a high performance polymer elastomer. On impact with a target the polymer is forced into engineered fissure to start the expansion process which results in extremely uniform expansion, better separation of petals and better barrier penetration across different types of barriers through full sized handguns.Speer has been considered the very best choice for law enforcement and personal protection. Premium components give you a reliable, and a positive functioning round with every shot. This makes Gold Dot ideal for defensive applications, and sets the standard for others to follow.

Excellent Duty and Carry Ammo!
This is really consistent ammo, even better than the original Gold Dot. Feeding can be flaky in some gun and magazine combos because of the nickel plated cases but for concealed carriers and duty use the constant chambering/downloading is rough on brass-only cases. These hold up much better. The G2 bullet is also more consistent when compared to cheap ball training ammo from an accuracy perspective...less change versus the original GD HP bullets in my experience.
