The Terminus XR LTE is the new ultralight version of the standard Terminus XR. The LTE features an all-new handle which is designed specifically to reduce weight. This is achieved by using carbon fiber liners instead of the original Terminus XR's metal liners. These carbon fiber liners are super strong and durable, yet so lightweight that the LTE is 30 percent lighter than the original Terminus XR. This knife features SOG's XR Lock design which easily opens with a flick and can withstand up to 1,500 pounds of force for the ultimate blade locking security. The CRYO CPM S35VN steel blade is cryogenically heat-treated, holds a very sharp edge, and is corrosion resistant. The addition of a reversible low-carry belt clip combined with all the other features of the SOG Terminus XR LTE make it a perfect folding knife for everyday carry.
