The Altair FX Fixed Blade is a Rugged Knife Built for Outdoor Use

The Altair FX is a compact fixed blade knife that can travel with you on all your outdoor excursions. Its blade is made from CPM 154 steel which is a mixture of high carbon, chromium, and molybdenum. This produces a stainless steel with excellent edge retention and high wear and corrosion resistance. For added versatility, the comfortable textured glass-reinforced nylon handle can be removed if you need to shave off some weight but still have a serviceable blade with you. Additionally, the Altair FX includes a configurable Universal Mounting System sheath which provides a host of carrying options and is compatible with straps, belts, and MOLLE systems.
