Does the MSR have the motion-on feature like the Romeo 5?

Not it does not. Per the owners manual: The ROMEO-MSR DOES NOT feature MOTAC (MotionActivated Illumination), so be sure to turn the sight off prior to long-term storage.
How well would it stay zeroed in after shooting it from large calibers, such as shotgun a (VR80) to be exact?

The MSR is 3.1" in overall length and the Juliet is 3.2" in overall length, plus you will need a little bit of space between the two. If your scope rail is 8" or longer, then this should fit.

Yes this will fit. However, you may potentially need to remove the rear sight to accommodate the magnifier.

You will need more than 4" of rail space. The MSR is 3.1" in overall length and the Juliet is 3.2" in overall length, plus you will need a little bit of space between the two.

Yes you can use the optics separately, however, the magnifier will only line up or pair well with optics similar in height to the Romeo-MSR.
