Sig Sauer’s Hybrid Match series .277 Fury ammo is named after its two primary features. Sig designed the Hybrid case specifically for the .277. The otherwise brass Hybrid has a steel head, which enables the cartridge to contain its ferociously high 80,000 psi maximum chamber pressure in a short-action package.

Sig didn’t design this round’s bullet, however. The MatchKing is all Sierra’s doing, and boasts the virtually perfect weight distribution and streamlined form it requires to faithfully translate a shooter’s best marksmanship into laser-like accuracy.

Sig reports this round’s G1 BC at .549. If your barrel is 24” long (i.e. the same length as Sig’s test barrel), then you can stare down this 600-yard trajectory: 0yds: -1.5” → 200yds: 20.7” → 400yds: 23.1” → 600yds: 0.0” → 800yds: -56.4” → 1000yds: -157.0”.
