New for 2016, Sierra has enhanced the lin of MatchKing projectiles by adding a resin tip to the end of the MatchKing and calling it the Tipped MatchKing. The major advantage of this little polymer tip is a reduction of drag producing a more desirable ballistic coefficient. While the MatchKing and the Tipped MatchKing aren't recommend for most hunting applications they can be pressed into service occasionally Varmint hunting, however you will find that these projectiles earn their keep in F-Class open matches and in various other forms of competition.
