Bought these for magazine
Bought these for magazine length Service Rifle loads. Using Dan Newbury's OCW system at 100 yards the 3 groups in the node were .39-.49 inches and the biggest group with a called flyer included was .923 inches. This is through a Compass Lake Service rifle upper with a Krieger barrel. Both the rifle and the SMK 77 grain .224s shoot way better than I can.The reputation is deserved--great bullets!BTW, no surprise that the best load was 24 grains of Varget. Work up to it in your rifle, but as many have found before me, there is no need to re-invent the wheel with this bullet.
