The Shield Arms S15 Gen 3 magazine increases the capacity of your Glock 43X and Glock 48 handgun by 50% without increasing the size of the magazine. The S15 Gen 3 is an all-steel magazine that has the same external dimensions as the Glock 43X and 48 magazines. However, the interior geometry allows for the rounds to align in a double-stack manner increasing capacity by 50% from 10 rounds to 15 rounds. The high-lubricity finish helps the magazine drop-free from the magazine well whether loaded or unloaded for quick reloads. The impact-resistant base is easily removable if you want to replace it with a S15 extension. The Gen 3 magazine features new, US-based manufacturing, a raised rib on the back of the magazine to fully match OEM magazine position in the mag well, new thicker steel with a black nickel finish. This magazine is the perfect upgrade for your Glock 43X or 48 handgun.

Additionally, this starter kit comes with a replacement steel mag catch for the ideal compatibility with the S15 magazine. This replaces Glock's plastic factory mag catch and is designed to work in conjunction with the metal body of the S15 magazine.

• It is required to swap out your plastic OEM mag catch with either the Shield standard steel magazine catch. If you don't swap your mag catch you may have reliability issues. If you use another manufacturer's mag catch you may have reliability issues. S15 magazines were designed to work with Shield Arms steel mag catches.
