Sellier & Bellot has been relied upon for quality ammunition since 1825 and is one of the oldest ammo manufacturers in the world. Established by Louis Sellier and Jean Maria Nicolaus Bellot in Prague they began by producing percussion caps. Then in 1918 the company began loading cartridges; moving to Vlasim, Czechoslovak and allowing for future growth into additional calibers and cartridges. This imported ammunition is always an excellent value and available in several popular calibers, meeting the needs of all shooters. S&B is dedicated to continuing its mission to provide customers with the highest quality ammunition through with attention to detail and extremely tough quality assurance procedures. Sellier & Bellot ammunition is loaded and manufactured to CIP specifications which is the European equivalent of SAAMI.

serves the purpose well
It is very accurate and the reduced velocity serves my purpose as a quiet, short range target round.

Made for suppressor
these are made to be suppressed as with any sub-sonic round(300 blackout) that's what adjustable gas blocks are for. You must have one when your shooting different over the counter bullets.

What's the point?
With such a low powered round I am wondering what the purpose is other than close range target practice. In addition, this low-power round may give us issues with ejection, particularly with stiff bolts. The only reason I ended up here is because of the current unavailability of the military spec 7.62 by 51. While the 308 tolerates the military spec round, if you have a 7.62 you're likely having difficulty firing 308 through it because of the casing expansion tissues with the High pressure of the 308 and the low tolerances of the 7.62 by 51 military spec barrel casing landings. Please forgive my ignorance and jargon please. Cons: Low energy
