SCCY CPX-2
The gun looks real nice and shoots well. I would reccomend the SCCY CPX to anyone looking for a compact conceal or open carry pistol. The only thing I don't like is the stiff magazine. It will get better with time.

Meh.
Negative first: -The trigger is garbage. There is literally no trigger reset, it resets when it goes literally all the way forward to its resting position. Which is annoying, but if you got used to it I don't imagine it would be a problem i guess. Its almost the same as driving my old 74 ford, you keep pushing on the gas and then no resistance...no resistance...and then it realizes its supposed to do something and fires. There's literally no need for that long of a trigger pull. -I have average sized hands (male) and the grips are too small, even with an extended magazine. Pros: fired any ammo i put in it. aluminium, steel, brass, whatever. shoots well. its an okay budget gun, wouldn't use it for concealed personally because of the garbage trigger. But, if you're on a budget I'd understand. Pros: cheap Cons: small grips

I would not buy this if I were you.

Nice Gun For The Price
I put about 500 rounds through it right out of the box w/o a misfire.Cleaned and oiled it but it started to misfire. I called SCCY who mailed me 2 new mags and a stamped envelope to return mine. i'm trying the new mags out tomorrow. Before the misfiringI thought it was a great gun. We'll see tomorrow.Either way I have to commend SCCY for their great service.

This is a GREAT gun!
This is a GREAT gun! I have put over 1000 rounds through it with no problems. Before I shot it I did polish the feed ramp. Easy take down for cleaning and VERY reliable! Take care of your gun and it will take care of you.

Great pocket carry.
Great pocket carry. Pros: Accurate and dependable. Well built solid gun. Holds 10 rounds, comes with pinky rest option. Can't beat lifetime warranty, makes for a great trunk gun. Cons: trigger solid composite plastic, could be irritating to finger after 100+ rounds. If target gun, might suggest changing out trigger. Factory grip meh, fixed by adding aftermarket grips excellent upgrade! Incredible value for the price. Looks, feels, and performs like a more expensive firearm.

I like this gun. Great fo
I like this gun. Great for CCW. I shoot nice and tight with it. Be cautioned that it is a heavy trigger pull. Specs say 9 pound pull. It's all of that... but it's a double action so its to be expected. My wife shot it and didn't like it because of the pull.

Yes I purchase this firearm and was very please with it. I have shot about 300 round and only had 1 miss feed. I trust this gun. I think it just needs breaking in, and now that it's being shot more I don't think it going to be a problem with misfeeds at all. This is a great gun. For the price you can't beat that. Great gun

First CTD makes purchases
First CTD makes purchases easy with vast products and great service. That said, picked up the Sccy gen 2 at my FLL home , as he related to me ' great concealable pistol can't believe the price' took it home , broke it down cleaned it oiled it, took it to the range put 100 rounds thru it no hang ups, misfires or stove pipping ....Easy to aim goods sights fine target picture, took a couple rounds to get use to the long trigger pull ... Like it so much order another one for my wife.... Great instructions for first time pistol owner , easy to break down just follow the pictures and written instructions... As easy to disassemble and assemble as a glock Highly recommend this made in USA pistol....only trouble I had was it was hard to load the magazines with out a 9mm loader until I reloaded a couple of times!

This is really a nice lit
This is really a nice little gun. Small, compact, and lightweight. The trigger is a little strong for my liking, but I am used to competition triggers. Mine is 6.75 lbs on this sccy. Nice shooter and PS> get the armalaser laser sight for it also. Great for concealed carry.

I had read some good reviews and some bad reviews for this pistol. Based on everyone's positive review of SCCY standing behind their product, I purchased the pistol. Today was the first range day with the CPX-2 and I am extremely happy with my purchase. 100 rounds down range with no problems. I feel this is a great gun for the the price. It did not get the fifth star due to a poorly designed slide lock. The lock takes extra effort to get the slide to unlock and slide forward. I am sure to get more accustomed to it as I fire the pistol more. Maybe SCCY will offer a fix if enough of us mention it in our reviews. Cheaper than Dirt had fast shipping and they are the easiest and offer best price of anywhere. For the price, you will not be disappointed.

After reading and watchin
After reading and watching video reviews for such a reasonably priced gun, I ordered the CPX-2 for my wife's birthday and added the TR10 laser made for it. Opened the box and couldn't believe the quality of the gun. Looked as good as my Glock. Couldn't wait to take it to the range and test it out before her birthday. Took it out and ran about 200 rounds through it. Used both mags and even ran a mix of 115 and 147 grain FMJ and 115 grain JHP in the same mag. NO PROBLEMS! Very accurate at 7-10 yards. Loved that it held 10 in the mag rather than 6-7 like most other similar sized guns. Great service from CTD, quick delivery. Very impressed with the CPX-2. Why pay a lot more for less capacity? US made and quality for less. Might just get another in pink and swap this one for my use. There are even holsters made for it including the laser which I picked up that fit great. Thanks CTD!

Bought this (CPX-2)about
Bought this (CPX-2)about six weeks ago and could not be happier with it. The best buy for CCW that is on the market. Put 200 rounds of reloaded ammo down range and had only one FTE that I think was a swollen case. Fits my hand well and SCCY fixed the sharp edges on the mag, now rounded. Only complaint I can think of is long trigger pull, but on a gun with no external safety, that's probably a good idea. Thinking of buying the new Pink Model for my wife.

Good buy for the money. F
Good buy for the money. Friend and I each bought one from CTD. Excellent turn around time again. Pistol seems well made and I have fired about 500 rounds without a FTF or FTE. Wear glasses when shoooting this pistol both of us have had casings eject back towards our faces not sure why but only happened a couple of times. Great life time warranty. Put an Armalaser CX10 laser on and it fits and operates perfectly. Good buy and great service from CTD.

Bought this gun after rea
Bought this gun after reading other reviews and renting one at the range. You won't find a better handgun for the money anywhere. It's light (15 oz) so it kicks a bit, but physics can't be denied. Shoots better than me at 5 yards and that is what it is made for. Only problems; cartridges sometimes eject up and back at your head and the mags have the sharpest edge I've ever cut myself on(fixable problem with sandpaper). This is now my daily carry piece.

I currently own two (2) o
I currently own two (2) of these weapons both with Matte Stainless Slide. They are the BEST of INEXPENSIVE firearms around and they are light weight. I have fired in excess of 1500 rounds thru each of these guns without any 'misfires or fail to eject'. If your looking for an inexpensive personal CCW gun, this is it...Bar none!

I just bought this CPX-2
I just bought this CPX-2 less than one month. After about 50 rounds, the firing pin broke. I called the service number and nobody answered the phone. I sent an e-mail to SCCY and got no answer. The manual said 'there is a firing pin retainer screw, the firing pin can be removed,' but actually there is no the the firing pin retainer screw in the gun and I do not know how to replace the firing pin. The key is nobody answered their phones or e-mails from SCCY Industries!!! UPDATE: I am the customer with an issue of broken firing pin. I think the broken firing bin may be because of my dry firing the pistol. I was dry firing it many times for practice after 50 rounds. Therefore, dry firing too many times may not be recommended for this pistol. The firing pin can only be replaced by SCCY. After SCCY replaced the firing pin (free of charge, including all mail fees!), I put more than 250 rounds though the gun and it performed great with good accuracy for me. Only two areas may need to be improved for this gun. (1) The trigger is heavy compared to Glock 17 (Otherwise, the accuracy would be better). (2) The grip is too big for me and the fit in my hand is not very comfortable. Generally, this is a great gun with good looking; good finish with good accuracy for a 3.1' barrel pistol.

Obtained the CPX-2 TT jus
Obtained the CPX-2 TT just a week ago from CTD and took it to the range once with good results. The pistol is great looking and the fit and finish is very good, especially for the price. Performance-wise I sent Hornady CD and WWB downrange without any issues (except the rear adjustable sight came loose after 40 rounds - a little LocTite seems to have taken care of that). My accuracy at 7 yards was good with a 4' grouping. Trigger is long and heavy (not very comfortable), but for a CCW, it proved to be adequate. No trigger reset at all - must release trigger all the way before another shot can be fired! Kick is not bad at all and reacquiring target is fast with the nice three dot sights. Very good fit in hand and carry IWB is comfortable. I will continue to hit the range before I make this my primary EDC, but so far it is looking promising. I did contact SCCY to get the updated recoil rod assembly, based on the reports that the old ones have been prone to failure. SCCY is not a household name (yet) and Generation 1 had their share of problems, but it looks like the Gen 2 is much improved. A nice alternative to Ruger LC9 and Kel-Tec P11.

Is the slide easy to pull?
Answer: This slide will not be easier to rack than comparable models. I recommend using a slide rack assist if you would like to slide to be easier to pull. Check out item # GNS-009-055.
Does this model have a safety?
Answer: No, the CPX-2 does not have a manual safety. The CPX-1 does.
Does this gun have last round slide lock?
Answer: Yes, it does.
