tight spring in magazine
I like the magazine except for the fact that the spring is so tight that I can`t load the 10th round. I`m hoping that it will loosen up a bit with more use.

Savage 93 Magazines
The magazine metal is too, thin, or low hardness. I would use something .002 - .004 thicker. Does not hold dimension. Too much flex at the top feeding portion. Burrs on the inner side of the feed ramp at back of mag causes jittery loading, or just gets stuck. I took a fine file and took the burr off and the bullet would slide fine. The flex in the thin metal makes it inconsistent feed from fully loaded mag to a couple of rounds.

Work well
Decent mag that works. For those in the reviews that are giving it a bad rating and calling it a "clip"...? Well, those of us that know better dismiss your comment right away when you call it something it is not.

Wont Feed when fully Loaded
I purchased 1 blued and 1 Stainless Steel mag with my new Model 93. The Model 93 shoot greats when it feeds. The spring in both magazines are not strong enough to feed correctly and it tends to bind up which requires the dropping of the mag and fiddling with it for a few minutes to get the bullets out. They tend to work fine if you only load 5-6 rounds which sort of defeats the purpose of buying the larger capacity mags.

I would not recommend for the 17 caliber Savage.
The magazine (with 17 caliber) was tight to insert and required pliers to remove. Several misfeeds were noted in the first 10 rounds. I tried a second 10 round magazine with the same results. I returned to the factory 5 round magazine without any problems incurred (no misfeeds and extracted from magazine well without any problem).

These factory made clips are badly finished
The clips has very sharp edges almost like a knife. Factory should take more care in finishing the sharp edges. Don't like it and cheaply made.
