Does NOT fit a Colt SF IV, sorry...
I've used the Comp II loaders for years and love them. I've been using the S&W K frame loaders on my Colt, but they bind a little, so I wanted something designed specifically for the Detective Special/SF IV, small frame six-shot revolver. Unfortunately, despite the recommendation from support, these do NOT fit this gun. Pros: Comp II loaders are great. Cons: These did not fit the gun I needed them for.

I bought these for my Col
I bought these for my Colt Trooper Mk III. I loaded these easily but the rounds would not align with the chambers in the gun's cylinder properly and were extremely difficult to insert the rounds. I checked to make sure they were going in straight and they were.There was a slight space between the speedloader and the grip of the gun so that wasn't the issue. I contacted the CTD customer service and they exchanged these for the HKS with no hassle whatsoever. Happy with the customer service.

Couldnt wait to try the new Comp II speedloader on my older Colt Trooper Mark III, It was anything but speedloading,the rounds don't line up with the cylinder and no matter how many times I tried, it always required twisting and pushing too hard to finally get them to load.

Received the Comp II Spee
Received the Comp II Speedloader for my Python during the past week.Although the description and package advise it will work on a Colt Python, the speedloader will not fit. CheaperThanDirt does have an excellent return policy, but with shipping cost and service charge it is not cost effective to return. I must now toss it into a 'junk' drawer.
