Once the weapon is holster, it locks firmly into place. Upon a proper shooting grip, the ALS device is de-activated by the thumb and the holster is released with a simple straight up draw. This allows for both secure retention and fast intuitive retrieval of the weapon. It is constructed of SafariSeven, which is a proprietary nylon blend that is completely non-abrasive to a firearm's finish and raised stand-off surfaces in holster's interior creates air space around the weapon allowing dirt and moisture to quickly clear any contact with the firearm.
