The Safariland 6390 ALS open-top duty holster is a Level 1 Retention, mid-ride, duty holster that is comfortable to wear even when seated in the patrol car. The Automatic Locking System (ALS) engages once the gun is placed into the holster, then a push of the thumb during drawing disengages the lock without inhibiting draw stroke.
The holster is constructed of a durable SafariLaminate thermal-molded polymer that resists the elements, while the SafariSuede lining protects your sidearm's finish.
