The Safariland SLS rotating hood on this tactical holster is less likely to accidentally release than a conventional thumb break snap. It is released by pushing down and rotating forward at the same time, is very simple to operate and allows for a fast, smooth, straight out draw. The interior of the holster is lined with synthetic suede to protect the gun's finish and sights.
