S&W attended to this mag’s production. It’s OEM, and has S&W’s precision-stamped and exceptionally tough heat-treated steel construction to show for it. The textured polymer baseplate gives the shooter a little bit extra to grasp, and also protects the rigid steel body should it ever go suddenly plummeting to the ground.

Not sure how many shots are left? Just pop the mag out and glance at its four numbered witness holes, which tell when you have at least 12, 10, 8 or 6 rounds remaining. When the mag is totally empty, its bright orange follower will make no secret of the fact.
