Really Good Magazines
Ruger's Mini 14 factory magazines are all far superior to any aftermarket mag. I fired hundreds of rounds through 30, 20 and 10 round Ruger factory magazines. I never have had a magazine related problem. If one of these magazines is not damaged from the factory (never seen one myself) but you still have problems, you or your rifle is the problem. Figure it out ding bat. Pros: Durable

I have gone thru several aftermarket mags for the mini. A few worked. I still decided to toss them. Big waste of money. Every Ruger mag, 5 round, 10 20 or 30 round works. Non stop, never have I had a failure. Jees, I know it is a big deal, but you wanted a mini for your reasons. So did I. Buy Ruger mags. They always work. Holy crud they aren't cheap, but they are 100% reliable. Aftermarket mags are wickedly UNRELIABLE - even if they usually work. Reliability and TRUST. What's that worth?

Complete junk! I bought two of these expecting they would be high quality and fit my gun properly. Instead they don't function properly at all! They fail to hold the bolt open after the last shot or with an empty magazine in place. The original 5 shot clip and my aftermarket clips all hold the bolt open like intended. I will be sending these back for a refund. Save your money, these are not better than the other aftermarket junk!

I don't know why but Minis need factory Mags. I have tried several others, all were disappointments. These are the best deal for your money you will find ANYWHERE. any size, 5 10, 20 or 30 these are the best priced, they are factory. Not a single failure from any of them. What's that worth?

It's an election year so its time to stock up on mags...nothing works better than Ruger factory mags in the Mini-14...some other brands come close but so far I've never had a feed issue or mount issue with these Ruger mags.

I learned the wrong, expensive, and long way that for the Ruger Mini-14 and the Mini-30, you must purchase FACTORY magazines. They do not jam, stick, or stop working. I've purchased practically all brands and returned most, as they don't work. True, if you want 30 rounds, they're not easy to find, but when you do, purchase as many as you can. Best investment for your rifle.

I have two of these mags
I have two of these mags and one doesn't work when it gets to the last couple of rounds. It jams and the ammo doesn't feed correctly when theres only a couple rounds left in the mag. The first mag works flawless, but the second one definitely has issues. I will contact ruger to see if I could get a replacement. I will try the twenty round mags they get better reviews.

Got this for Christmas ju
Got this for Christmas just yesterday. Being as how this was the thing I was most excited to receive, I went straight to the range. Upon unpacking the magazine, found that it was inordinately difficult to load ammunition. After about 15 rounds, I stopped to examine the magazine closely. It looks like it was slightly crushed, and by the condition of the packaging, it happened in the Ruger factory. If you look at the bottom of magazine, you can see that instead of your usual nicely rectangular shape, it is instead a parallelogram. Obviously this isn't going to work. Unloaded the magazine by hand, and attached it to the firearm. Well, couldn't get it out. Had to disassemble my Mini-14 to get it out. Upon yet another inspection of the magazine, found that the top was barely even together. Shoddy looking welds. This was incredibly disappointing all together. My factory 20 round magazine works flawlessly every time. Comparing the 30 round to the 20 round is a joke. How did this magazine ever get past quality control? I'll be contacting CTD about this, and request an exchange. Shame on Ruger. Thanks in advance, CTD!

I bought 2 mags from another company for 50.00 a piece--than I found our super store--cheaper than dirt.com--I bought 2 more from them for 7.00 a piece cheaper--I was thinking because they were so much cheaper they might not be as good quality-but guess what--they were packaged exactly like ruger packaging from the first place---in fact they were indeed the same--I have been a devoted customer to the Texas guys ever since.

I've shot other other brand of magazine I could find for my mini and this is the only one that belongs in my gun! Ive put at least 500-600 rounds through one of them and never had a problem. For the select few that said they had problems, maybe they should clean the packing grease out of them before they load them!

Got the 30rd. mags in today. Loaded the first one up with 30rds. and loaded/ejected 10 rounds flawlessly in my rifle. Same with the other ones. Mag does not move around, fits tight in my Mini-14 ranch. I tried an aftermarket mag that was supposed to be military approved, would not load the first two rounds. Waste of time got my money back on that one. As others have said get a Ruger mag for the Mini-14. You will NOT regret it at all. Gonna get some more 30's and some 20's next paycheck. Great service and price from CTD.

These are the REAL RUGER
These are the REAL RUGER FACTORY magazines. I bought three, have had NO problems with about 500 rounds of American Tactical and Wolf. They are a little spendy but I could have probably bought ten more with the money I've wasted buying the other magazines.
