I'm looking for a magazine for my Ruger American Standard Model 06957 that allows a COAL 0.2" over Saami spec.   My current magazine is to Saami spec, maxing out at 2.26".  I'm having a custom barrel made with 1:8 twist so I can shoot very long 55gr Berger bullets (.908" OAL) with my 204 Ruger.    Will this magazine accommodate an overall cartridge length of 2.46"?
Answer: This magazine is designed to fit a Ruger American Standard Model 06957. Ruger does not list the max overall cartridge length for this magazine, but this is a factory OEM replacement magazine so it is not likely to give you any more room than the magazine that came with the rifle.
I have a Ruger American Predator .223   ,  Will this mag work?
Answer: The Ruger American Predator chambered in .223 Remington is unique to the Ruger American line-up and uses an AR-15 pattern magazine instead of the standard Ruger American magazine. Try MAG-889-016
