The Ruger American is a polymer framed, striker fired semi automatic pistol that is suitable for personal defense and concealed carry as well as professional duty. It features a one piece high performance glass filled nylon grip frame with three grip modules for a perfect fit, a 3.55" barrel and Novak LoMount Carry 3-Dot sights. The trigger has a short takeup and positive reset. The pistol is equipped with ambidextrous slide stop and magazine release, and has an accessory rail for addition of an optional tactical light or laser aiming device.
