Remington outfits their UMC cartridges with quality target-grade projectiles. Each round in this pail of 250 is loaded with a jacketed hollow point that weighs exactly (or extremely close to) 115 grains, contains zero steel (in other words, it *cannot* attract a magnet), and wears a true jacket which plays safely with ported compensators/barrels. The JHP also takes supersonic flight upon rocketing out of a 4” barrel or longer!
The UMC series JHP would be make a fine ally during a self-defense scenario. You’d do well to choose a bullet engineered to higher standards for your primary EDC load, though.
No UMC round leaves Remington’s Arkansas factory before it has received a corrosion-free Kleanbore primer and new, handloadable brass shell casing.
