Remington usually loads a .360 Buckhammer 180 grain load to a muzzle velocity around 2,400 fps; a 200 grain load, 2,200 fps. Neither one of them is of very much use to a hunter who’s trying to keep things subsonic.

This particular specialty hunting round, however, is loaded with a massive *250* grain bullet. It lurches out of the barrel at a velocity of 1,030 fps, which is about 95 fps lower than the speed of sound. Long story short, if you’re trying to see just how capably your suppressor can work its magic, then you’ve found just the right .360 BHMR for the job!

This round may go easy on your quarry’s ears, but it won’t be gentle to any other part of it. The bullet wears a bonded jacket: a feature which fortifies it, and keeps it whole enough to poke deep through the quarry’s defenses and into its vitals. It also ends in a hollow point, which is precisely what it needs to initiate deadly wide and fast terminal mushrooming. And the needle-straight brass case that bonded HP’s seated in? Fresh as a daisy, and reloadable!
