Its jacket is plated (hence the preceding advisory), but that has no negative bearing on feeding, bore fouling, or overall accuracy. Remington measured the FMJ’s 985 fps muzzle velocity and 371 ft lbs 25-yard striking energy with a 4” test barrel. Nothing out of the usual there.
Remington’s Range series ammunition also features temperature-stable propellant (to promote more consistent performance regardless of atmospheric conditions), as well as the Kleanbore brand primers they have fine tuned since their introduction in 1927. Pop those Kleanbores out after you have pinned them. You’ll be rewarded with reloadable cases!
