Why is this ammunition (25-20 Win) so expensive across the board?

Hi Burt! It's extremely rare. Very few companies make it, and the ones that do make it in extremely limited quantities. That means you're not benefitting from the economy of scale, and you're also paying for the manufacturer to halt production while they switch a line over to produce 25-20. I wish it weren't so, but that's usually the case with unpopular loads such as these.
