Uh-yup, Ok...
I've been wanting a saddle scabbard quite a few years but never got around to getting one.ow that I have one, I realize my intended goal and reality are two different things. Still I think this will work out "gud anuff". My ideas have been to arrange a scabbard as a "grab-n-go" hunting/shooting pack that contains all I carry in my waist belt: knife, canteen, IFAK, couple snacks/meals, the rifle, some ammo (50 rounds or so). In short, a way to keep my hands free as I walk. Now all I have to do is figure out how to make it less top-heavy so the carbine doesn't slide out but is easily accessible to drawing over the shoulder, like an arrow quiver. How will it work on a horse or four wheeler? Wrong person to ask since I have neither. Recommend it? I make it a habit to not do things like that for anything or anyone. Would I buy it again? Yes and no. It's not the cat's whiskers for my imagined use, but will suffice.
