The RCBS Small Base Die is a must for any serious reloader of Semi Auto , pump or lever action firearms. The Small base sizing die sizes the cases to just below SAAMI minimum cartridge dimensions, decapping the shell and expending the neck to accept the bullet in one action. The SAAMI sizing ensures proper seating in semi automatic, pump and lever action Firearms. The die is vented to prevent trapped air or excessive lubricant from causing damage to the shell casing. Shell holder sold separately.
